Who is the teacher? Students are forgetting the meaning of teacher because they don't have any manners. Students are misbehaving with them and they are always being rude with them. Although they are not wrong all the time I am talking about the Ratemyteacher.com. In this advanced world, everything is easy and it is going to become easier. You can get each kind of information on the Internet. There are many things easy to do so as to humiliate someone. There are many sites to rate your teacher. Pupils capture videos of their teachers and post them online and write bad comments on them. Sometimes a comment gets worse; they affect a teacher’s health and career too. According to the article ‘US schools seek teachers’ (2001) there is shortage of schoolteachers in the United States as well as in England (para. 1). This kinds of website is rates teachers’ work out of five and grade them. This problem is worldwide now. Many students grade their teacher. Government should stop these kinds of websites in some schools. They should take some steps against these websites, because teachers are being hurt from it. Schools should make some council to help the teachers. The government should be involved in solving this problem. School should take part in solving this problem. Parents should take more interest in this problem and do something to solve this problem. This could solve the problem.
First, government should get involved in solving this problem. Government is the higher authority. Government has all the authority to set any rule in favor of people or not in favor of people. They can do anything in favor of us. If they will start thinking very seriously about the problem, the teacher will get some help from the government. Government has responsibility of to protect someone’s dignity and especially that of teachers. Who gives us knowledge? Who teaches us how to be stable in this competitive world? Who teaches us how to behave in society? Who teaches us how to become good a civilian? It is not anyone but the teacher. If government makes a rule that no one can expose any school name or teacher name there would be possibility to expose someone’s name. Government can make a penalty for those who write bad comments against their teachers, which are not true. Government should take money as a penalty from the students who write bad things against their school, or it can take some legal step against some pupils to expose their teachers’ names publicly in a bad way. The government should be strict with the students who do bad things to teachers and capture their videos or pictures and put them online. There should be a strict punishment, if they really harm someone and force someone to commit suicide because sometimes a teacher could not bear it, so they commit a suicide. If the students go beyond their limit and don’t listening anyone, they should send in jail. If there will some compulsion from government, so students will think ten times before they write bad comments or to take someone name in public. Government should set rule that no one can use cell phone in the class. If they set this rule, students cannot take their teacher’s pictures or videos to humiliate them in public. If students do not follow this rule, they should be punished. In any way they should be restricted to use the cell phone. In India
there is this rule and students have to follow that, otherwise they will be in trouble. So in this way government can help in some ways to solve this problem.
Second, schools should take part in solving this problem. School is a second home for students because they spent more time in their school. School is the places where students take knowledge of many subjects, learn good things and build their career. School should make a council for teachers. The council should be made of teachers. These teachers should be motivated. In this council not only would the teachers be there but also a principal could be there. This council will help teachers for understanding the particular situation and how to react in the situation. It will help the teacher, when they have some serious problem. Sometimes teachers are badly humiliated and they have to lose their job. They will face psychological problems too. So if this kind of council is there in each school, it will be helpful to each teacher and also make them prepared to face this kind of problem. Council will help to encourage them and to boost them. School should play big role in solving this problem because it is its duty to control the students and teach the students how to behave in civilized society. School can arrange the workshop for teachers in alternate months, so it will make them be refreshed. School should set some rules for students and they have to follow the rules. If they don’t, there should be some legal punishment for them, so pupils think more about doing any bad things, and it will be solved to some degree. School can kicked out any student if they don’t behave well and they became violent. School has legal authority to kick out any student and it can give them legal notice, for example, that no other school can give them admission. If school starts doing this seriously students will think more about harming someone’s pride. If students rate their teacher, it
means they know everything. If they know everything then why should they come to learn to school? Students should know that teachers know more than them; that’s why they are there, to teach us and make us stable in society. So students should know their limit. If some students can’t behave properly, schools have a problem with them. So schools should call their parents and let them know about their children.
Third, parents should take more interest in this problem and do something to solve this problem. In this today’s world everyone is running behind money. So no one has time for anyone, and parents don’t have time for their children. It is parent’s responsibility of their child, how they are in society. It is their job to make them capable and teach them right way to live their life. They can do many things to solve this problem, because they can teach and take control of their children. They know their children better than anyone, and they care about them, so they know how to tackle their children, where they have to be very strict with their children and how they make them understand in a better way. They can have a talk together about what they do the whole day and parents should know about their children. Parents should have their eyes on their children while they access the Internet. While they access the Internet, parents should know what they are accessing and whether it is good for them or not. Some parents don’t know what their child is doing. They are not interested in their children; they have only interest in making money. These children are not getting the love of their parents. So they will not be happy with anyone, and they always insult everyone, and will not talk in a good way. So they can come to the parents and discuss their problem and be relaxed with their parents. Some children are not very close to their parents, because they think that they do not understand them and they are doing their own work. Sometimes this student is facing this problem at their home, so they are frustrated at someone, and if they get this kind of web site, which allows them to do whatever they want they do bad things to everyone. Parents also help the teachers who are humiliated. Some of the teachers have their union, so they can also take part of these union activities and encourage the students.
My opponent says that, some teachers are not teaching in a proper way and they do not think for students. However, although this is true every teacher has a different style of teaching, so it is possible that some students understand perticular style and teaching. Sometimes students don’t give attention to the class. So they don’t know about what the teacher is teaching. Some students have the problem that they always find fault in everything. That’s why they always tell bad things and try to pull the teacher’s leg. For example, there are some students that have bad peers, so they always take them in bad activity and they are not interested in working in class, studying in class or giving attention to class. In my class, there were some students who always pulled each other’s leg, did not study and always found fault with teachers. They were doing that because they had bad peers.
In conclusion, there is equal responsibility of parents, school and government to stop violence against teachers with this kind of web sites. This
web site has also its social responsibility. If they all know their responsibility, there will be no violence against teachers. All should know their responsibility and should not cross the limit. All should know how to behave with others especially with the teachers. So it will help this problem to some degree.

Wikipedia
Click here for search! In this advanced world everyone wants each thing fast. People want to eat, walk, go to the office and study everything in an easy way. Wikipedia is the site where everyone can go and have a free and easy way to get all information.
Wikipedia is one of the free online encyclopedias. The Wikipedia website is easy to access, it is popular and anyone can go and post anything and edit it too.
First, Wikipedia is easy to access. You can get all information there. You can get each kind of information about history, geography, mathematics and sociology. You will not find any difficulty in accessing it. You will find it easily on the Internet. It is totally free for everyone. You don't have to pay money to access anything on this website. “Approximately 38 million people visited the English language version of the site in December 2006. Wikipedia is also easy to find; it frequently appears at the top of the Google searches and access is completely free.” (Byers, 2007, para.3).
Second, Wikipedia is popular and thousands of people like to access it. It is one of the most popular online encyclopedias. It is popular for everyone because it is free and no one has to pay to access it. One other factor that gets more popularity for wikipedia is that you can access it in many different languages. Wikipedia has many controversies, although it is popular among every one. “Contributing to the debate is the speed in which Wikipedia has grown. While any scholarly and academic sources have decades-if not centuries-of history, Wikipedia’s popularity has surpassed all of them in a matter of just six years” (Wolverton, 2007, para.8). He also mentioned that it is the ninth most popular website in the United States, although it was launched in 2001. “seven per cent of all internet users now visit the site every day.” (Martin, 2007, para.13).
Third, everyone can edit and post everything. People love freedom and Wikipedia gives that. It gives us freedom to write or feel anything about anything. Also it gives us the right to edit anything, which we want. For example, if someone wants write and post it online about the president and any government issues, they are allowed to do that everyone is allowed to share the information that they have. “While encyclopedias and journals are generally authored by scholars and peer reviewed before publication, Wikipedia articles can be written and edited by anyone at anytime, bringing about a debate over the risk of giving those outside academia the power to create and contribute to articles on scholarly subjects. Furthering this, users can add, alter, or remove information without registering a user account, giving those who visit the site free and anonymous reign over the available information” (Wolverton, 2007, para.7). According to D. Parry (2008), literacy not only means getting and reading information from different resources, but taking part in that and Wikipedia is the one which can give you that opportunity.
In conclusion, Wikipedia is easy to access is popular and everyone can edit and post everything. It is free and it gives you freedom to post whatever you want to. It allows you to get free information. You don't need to create an account on Wikipedia to access it. Everyone should take part in this free sharing web site.

Someone needs more protections
According to P. Griffiths (2007), teachers need extra protection from abuse from pupils on web sites like RateMyTeacher.com. First, being abused from their own pupils. Sometimes affects a teacher’s health. Second, sometimes it affects a teacher’s career. Comments get worse and give remarks on their career. Last, some teacher takes all comments in positive ways even though comments are written in wrong words for them.
In this global world, it is easy for everyone to humiliate someone publicly. First, students having more technological freedom humiliate teachers. Second, it affects a teacher’s health. Last, it affects a teacher’s career.
First, their own pupils humiliate teachers by having more technological freedom. In this advanced world it’s easy to humiliate publicly. Government should take some steps against this kind of sites. For example, there should be certain parameters to criticize some one and set some more powerful rules and regulations. There should be parent’s involvement to solve this problem. Schools should set rules for parents that monitoring children while using Internet. For example, “a Sydney high school sent a memo to parents last year, asking them to monitor their children’s internet access after students were suspended for threatening school staff on a website.”
Second, being humiliated by pupils affects a teacher’s health. Sometimes criticism goes beyond a limit; pupils catch teachers on video and pictures that cause depression and psychological problems. A School should make a council board to counsel teachers. This kind of board gives good advice and helps them decide how to react when they are humiliated. In that hard time the board will give psychological support. The Teacher might commit suicide because of being humiliated sometimes very badly.
Third, websites like YouTube and RateMyTeacher.com, give freedom to harass their teacher online and it causes damage to teacher’s career. Teachers should make an organization to protest this kind of problems and websites. They can advertise their problem on television so more and more people and teachers come, and join their organization. This will make a difference. Social organizations should become involved in his problem and give support to teachers to stop or ban these sites. Bad comments affect teacher’s careers because all things, about him or her are online. Sometimes teachers lose their jobs. For example, if the teacher is the only one person to earn money, it will affect on his or her financial status and bring problems to the family. These websites are of big companies. They should have social responsibility and moral obligations.
Last, teachers are humiliated by using more technological freedom. These sites harmed their health and career. I strongly believe that government should be involved with strong acts and regulations and this kind of site should be banned.

RATING A TEACHER?
According to A. Riga (2007) all countries from around the world are in puzzle of abusing teachers by the Internet. First, students are posting videos and pictures, which are captured by them. They post spewing insults and violence on famous web sites like Face book, You Tube. Second, sometimes it can be happen to an innocent teacher. They are linked with certain issues and they have to bear all these damages, split. Last, this kind of web site may affect a student’s career very badly. It should be prohibited for school.
In this today’s advanced world everyone is free to do what he or she wants. There is freedom in many more ways than before. In this world, we get many facilities in everything with new technology. More usage of technology will create problems sometimes. Technology misuse will increase. There are always two sides of the coin; like that there are positive and negative points of rating teachers by Internet.
First, students misuse their rights. Students capture videos and pictures to abuse their teacher. Write inappropriate words for them, insult them and post that all bad stuff on popular site like Face book, You Tube. ? A. Riga (2007) mentioned “11 students were suspended from a high school in caledon, northeast of Toronto, for sexually explicit, derogatory postings about principal a online.” (para. 3 ). When first time I heard about this site, I was surprised that this could be happened. In my country, we give so much of respect to our teacher, even though he or she might not deserved it. We believe that teacher is divine person. He or she is the medium of knowledge for you.
Second, there are many bad things that are posted. For this part I have done one review. I asked many teachers of mine about this kind of site and they all had the same opinion that there are facts on this site too. One teacher said that she had experienced this fact in choosing her new job outside of country. She read correct information about her new place of job. We can see that by reading 100 people’s opinion about one particular teacher, it makes you think that something was wrong with the teacher, not with the students that posted that article or any stuff. I believe that it is one way to tell good things about your teachers as well as to criticize them, but when he or she is really wrong in some way, but I think that before posting something wrong against him or her, we should tell them that they are wrong in some particular way. So we can get some in between way.
Third, we should ban this kind of site in some area or to get way to come out of this kind of problem. We can make it compulsory for every student that to write something that is their opinion, so it can decrease in some area; because there is not always bad students who write impropriate stuff about their teacher, there are some good students too. This kind of site spoils student’s career, because the bad students are always interested in speaking or writing wrong things about others especially about their teacher. So if the government takes some legal step to prohibit this site in certain areas like in schools or to fix some rules or norms for that, so it will not create that much of a problem.
Last, I would like to conclude that students misuse their rights; there are many facts that are posted, and we should ban this kind of site in some area or to get a way to come out of this kind of problem. Everyone has written about doing what he or she wants but there should be some parameters. You can write for your teachers by Internet with the good things about them and it should be controlled in some way.

In this today’s advanced world everyone is free to do what he or she wants. There is freedom in many more ways than before. In this world, we get many facilities in everything with new technology. More usage of technology will create problems sometimes. Technology misuse will increase. VADA PAV
There are many differences between fast food in the U.S. and fast food from in my country. There are spicy and more oil based or fried food fast food in my country. Here I could not find spicy, salty and more fried fast food. There are many types of fast food in India. I am from the west part of India and there is more oil based and spicy fast food. We have many types of fast food in my city like dal vada, vada pav, batata vada, pani puri, dabeli, spicy sandwiches of different kind, bhel puri and many more. All are spicy and delicious, but my favorite is Vada pav. I always love it when I am hungry. It looks like a burger but does not taste like one. Vada pav is made of two Vada and Pav. Pav is just like a burger’s bread. Vada is made with Bengal gram flour, potatoes, green chili, garlic paste and ginger paste. Vada will go in between pav and is served with green chili paste and tomato ketchup. It is famous in my city as well as in all the western part of India. You can get it very easily in my city because in every street you can find a Vada pav shop. Oh! My mouth is watering!

According to J. Twist (2005) says that the UN summit on the Information society has discussed about the gap of Information technology in the world. Firstly, everyone should have the right to speak. It’s their right. Secondly, It was noticeable the freedom to get information for all civilians. One should have his right to express his feelings and views. Lastly, there was an important issue of Internet fraud, violence, and terrorism by using the Internet. All these events are not enough to create a people oriented information society, and there were not good enough international standards.
In today’s advanced world, information technology is the best way to get information, but every country does not get it equally. There are many differences such as there are technology gap, there is difference between rich and poor country to get it. There is summit to decrease this gap of technology of countries. It states that everyone should have right to speak, freedom of expression and to stop Internet fraud, violence, and terrorism.
Firstly, Everyone should have right to speak. It’s their right. In the summit, there was main talk about freedom of speech. Everyone has the right to say what he or she wants to. If anyone doesn't get the chance to speak, there is no progress. There was no knowledge. You can’t get other’s view. J. Twist (2005) has mentioned, the US delegate expressed his views with disappointment that Tunisian government did not take benefits of the freedom of speech you can’t see the other side of the picture. So you cant have economic progress. Everyone has his or her own right to live life and speak what he or she feels.
Secondly, It was noticeable the freedom to get information for all civilians. In this global world everyone should have right to get the information what he or she want. If we get more information or ideas, there will be progress. Some countries argued that some country is not getting the benefits of information, so people should be aware of all required information, which can help them. However, China’s government says that we want some safety because we don’t want that our people could involve in any kind of criminal acts that can affect on human lives. Furthermore, information could be good or bad, but it’s depending on people how they take it. Government should have some rules to provide information for people, so they can be safe from others countries. Getting the information is the best way to know the world.
Lastly, there was an important issue of Internet fraud, violence and terrorism by using the Internet. Nowadays the cyber crime has increased. There are so many Internet frauds. People do misuse of technology for terrorism, violence and in many activities where they can harm society or anyone. It should be stopped. There should be legal steps against it. Mr. yoshio Utsumi, secretary general of the International Telecommunication Union said “ Freedom in cyberspace is a pre- requisite for an information society.”
Last, I would like to conclude that everyone should have the right to speak, freedom to get information and there should be strong legal action to decrease crime. Everyone should have right to share information. Above all activities are not enough to make a people orientated society; there should be good enough international standards.

My favorite food is south Indian food, In south Indian food, we have basically rice made dishes. We can have dosas, idali, mendu wada, uttapam etc. I love all dishes of south India, but what I like most is mendu wada. It looks like donuts. It is made with udad beans, salt and green chili. It is served with hot curry of tuvar beans, coconut paste and garlic-chili paste. It is served on banana tree leaves. It is tradition to serve every food on it in south India.
